Changing of the Seasons

Each year, the first Monday in September is celebrated in America to honor all of the contributions that workers have made to help strengthen this country. In Wisconsin Dells, we celebrate Labor Day as the transition of the seasons! While a few of the seasonal attractions may have closed down until next summer, the Fall Festivities are just beginning! Stroll among Downtown Wisconsin Dells in the weeks to come and it’s clear to see that the cooler weather doesn’t stop us!

Wo-Zha-Wa Fall Festival is September 18-20 this year and is jam-packed with family-friendly activities. Enjoy a street carnival, culinary treats, and a 100-unit parade! From arts & craft fairs to flea markets, and Maxwell Street Days, there are plenty of shopping opportunities available! Wo-Zha-Wa is the most popular Fall Festival and you won’t want to miss it!

This year, Wisconsin Dells Fall Festival Weekend is October 16-18, and if you’re a fan of the autumn season, this is an event for you! Bring the kids for pumpkin decorating, a pumpkin ring toss, scarecrow stuffing contest, a 5K fun run, petting zoo, pony rides, and much more! For those of age, Dells on Tap will be taking place Saturday October 17th. Taste craft beers from 25+ unique  breweries around the Midwest!

An autumn boat ride is the perfect way to look at the beautiful changing leaves from the water. Whether enjoying a scenic Dells Boat Tour, amphibious Duck ride, or getting in the spirit of Halloween with a Ghost Boat Tour, a boat tour is a fun way to experience Wisconsin Dells. 

After Labor Day, there are still a few months in the season for a round of golf!
