Bennett played a big role in attracting people to the Wisconsin Dells through the photographs he took of the Wisconsin River and its breathtaking beauty. The H. H. Bennett Studio in Wisconsin Dells showcases Mr. Bennett’s original photography studio. Walking through the studio, you’ll see original photographs, glass plate negatives, and H. H. Bennett’s photography inventions, cameras, and equipment. You can even check out a Stereoscope, which is landscape photograph with 2 different perspectives.
Red Ridge Ranch
Over the river and through the woods in a horse drawn sleigh you’ll go! Take a step back in time as you glide over the snow on a Red Ridge Ranch winter sleigh ride tour. Take a sip of your complimentary cocoa and admire the scenic winter landscape as you soar beneath the peaceful pines. Fresh winter air will fill your lungs throughout the 40 minute ride. On Saturday’s and Sunday’s, you can warm up to the bonfire at the end of the tour. Reservations are required, so book your sleigh ride ahead of time.
