Some of us love it. Other’s don’t want to think about it. I’m talking about snow. Before you know it, Wisconsin Dells will be seeing it’s first sign of winter. So, what happens during the wintertime in the Dells anyways? Wisconsin Dells has become a four-seasons vacation destination. Just because summer is over doesn’t mean the fun has to end.
If you enjoy downhill skiing, take a visit to Cascade Mountain, Christmas Mountain, or Devil’s Head Ski Resort. All three places have hills for all different skill levels, as well as my favorite snow activity, downhill tubing! To me, it’s fun racing my friends to see who gets to the bottom first! Then I go and warm up with a hot cup of cocoa!
Wisconsin Dells also has snowmobiling trails in the four surrounding counties that are Adams, Columbia, Juneau, and Sauk. With many beautiful State Parks in the area, such as Mirror Lake, Devil’s Lake, and Rocky Arbor State Park, you can enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and many other snow activities!
If spending time in the snow isn’t your thing, Wisconsin Dells has the highest concentration of Indoor Waterparks in America! With indoor waterslides, rides, water features, kids play areas, wave pools, surf attractions, and much more, you can splash the day away at one of the famous Wisconsin Dells Waterparks!
For a more relaxing activity once the ground turns white, check out a Wisconsin Dells Spa. Enjoy a tranquil massage or spa treatment in a warm, aromatic atmosphere. Pamper yourself in a steam bath or muscle-relaxing whirlpool for a feeling of complete bliss.
No matter what activities you enjoy, inside or outside, Wisconsin Dells is filled with many activities for the whole family. The above information is a preview of fun things to experience once the snow starts falling. It’s not too early to start planning your Wisconsin Dells vacation TODAY!
