The chill in the air brings winter fun to Wisconsin Dells. Whether you are seeking to hit the slopes, spend a day at the spa, or just gathering with friends, we have a list of activities to scrape away the frost and boredom.

1) Visit an Indoor Waterpark

This is an obvious one. Wisconsin Dells is known for their..……Waterparks! An Indoor-Waterpark is a great place to escape the cold with the family. With slides and rides for children & adults of all ages, the warm atmosphere is a great place to take the stress away and relax. Mt. Olympus Resort, Kalahari Resort, Chula Vista Resort and the Polynesian Resort are just a small portion of the Indoor Waterparks available in Wisconsin Dells to take your mind off the weather.

2) Spa Day!

A hot-stone massage in the dead of winter. Just reading those words should give your body a relaxing sensation. Restful massages, rejuvenating facials, as well as de-stressing body and bath treatments will engage all of your senses. 5) Bowling

Located in the Outlets at the Dells parking lot, Knuckleheads offers 10 lanes of bowling with over 50 HDTV’s for the family to enjoy. Surrounded by an amusement park and full bar, bowling at Knuckleheads will be an experience to remember.

Chalet Lanes & Lounge provides a unique atmosphere with 12 lanes of bowling in the heart of Downtown Wisconsin Dells. Chalet Lanes has a delicious bar and grill to keep yourself satisfied while the good times roll. 

Kalahari Indoor Theme Park, located inside Kalahari Resort, is family fun at it’s best! Bowling at Kalahari’s 24 state-of-the-art Brunswick bowling lanes is a great way to spend the day out of the Wisconsin cold and into the feel of an African safari. 8) Night Clubs

For a night out on the town, experience The Reef at Bobbers Island Grill for premier Wisconsin Dells weekend entertainment. Grab your friends and dance the night away with great music and exceptional drinks. Remember you must be 21 to enter and ID is required.

9) Winery Tasting

Located Approximately 10 miles north of Wisconsin Dells, Fawn Creek Winery is open year-round and offers daily complimentary tastings. The 7 acres surrounding the winery makes for a beautiful site when the vineyards are covered with snow.

Wollersheim Winery in Prairie du Sac offers hourly tours around their award winning winery. Complimentary tastings of their featured wines as well as paid specialty tastings are available. Come experience this award-winning winery. For all winery tours, you must be 21 to enter and ID is required.

10) Ho-Chunk Casino

Just a short 10-minute drive from downtown Wisconsin Dells, Ho-Chunk Casino has all of the table games, slots, bingo, and off-track betting to keep you entertained for days on end. Besides the Casino, Ho-Chunk also features an on-site hotel, spa, convention center, entertainment, and 5 unique restaurants. You must be 21 to enter casino floor. 

Bonus! If you enjoy the outdoors and winter is your favorite season, then you need to check out Cascade Mountain and Christmas Mountain! Different levels of skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing as well as ski and snowboard rentals are available at both ski hills.

If you’d like to try something out of the ordinary, Bigfoot Zipline Tours offer winter zip-lining. Tower to tower, you’ll travel through over 6,000 feet of ziplines at heights ranging from 10 feet to 100 feet off the ground! Your adrenaline will be flowing when you push off the platform during this winter activity.
