Take a drive along County Highway A next to River’s Edge Resort is Newport Park. This park offers a scenic view of the sandstone bluffs right where the Wisconsin River meets Dell Creek. At Newport Park, you’ll find a large sandy beach, picnic tables, grills, restroom facilities, and plenty of parking! Set up a picnic and watch the boats pass by, or bring your own boat to use the park’s boat launch!
Overlooking the Mirror Lake Dam, The Port Restaurant is an escape from the hustle & bustle of the Dells and offers a calming, relaxing atmosphere on their patio under the trees. Dine outside and take in nature or head inside and admire the rustic decor! Recently under new ownership, The Port features amazing food, delicious drinks, and a taste of the great outdoors.
Take in the crisp Wisconsin air on a hike within the 244 acres of sandstone bluffs, hiking trails and picnic areas at Rocky Arbor State Park. Just a mile away from the Dells, Rocky Arbor was established in 1932 to protect the beautiful sandstone walls within the park and also offers beautiful camping among the pines. A Wisconsin State Park vehicle admission sticker is required to park at Rocky Arbor.
Park your car on the paved parking lot and get some stunning photos at the Cambrian Overlook, which overlooks the Upper Wisconsin River.
