Winter is here. So in Wisconsin Dells we make the best of fun in the snow. Are you up for some live music, fireworks, hot cocoa, rosy cheeks & snow? Then let’s cure that cabin fever and check out these three Wisconsin Dells festivals that will have you shoveling up your winter blues.
Marley’s 2nd annual Winter Fest takes place on January 24th and offers a wide variety of activities for the whole family. With games, raffles, food, music, and a bonfire taking place throughout the day, there will never be a dull moment. Some of the featured events include Turkey Bowling, Vintage Snowmobile Rides, and a Fireman’s Race. There will also be a raffle drawing for a sled and a vintage snowmobile! On top of that, Winter Fest will have a silent auction during the day. If you bring in an item for the Humane Society, you’ll receive a ticket for a chance to win some cool prizes!
Christmas Mountain Village is hosting their annual Winter Carnival on February 7th and this is an event you don’t want to miss. Whether you’re into Tubing, Wood Splitting, Snowball Launching, or Marshmallow Roasting, you’re sure to have a great time. There will also be Face Painting, a Half Barrel Toss, Live Music & More! A 50/50 raffle will take place during the day to help support the Christmas Mountain Ski Patrol Volunteers. The carnival will conclude with a Torchlight Parade and a spectacular Fireworks show.
Come to the 2nd Annual Winter Rec Fest at Bowman Park this Saturday, January 17th, from 9am-1pm. The day starts with a family breakfast from 9-10:30am. A $10 family donation for breakfast is requested. From 10am-1pm there will be activities such as: team snowball competition, sledding, ice sculpturing, Gingerbread House making, and enjoying s’mores! Also, you’ll be able to try jack wax. What’s jack wax? It’s pure maple syrup that’s boiled down and then caramelizes when poured over snow and becomes a tasty taffy treat! Sponsored by High Rock Cafe and Just a Game Fieldhouse. Fun for the whole family
Whether you plan on attending Winter Fest, Winter Carnival, 2nd Annual Winter Rec Fest, or all three, you can’t go wrong if you’re looking for some fun to add a spark to the winter season that is upon us.
