Where to Catch the Big Game!

This blog post was published on September 12, 2013 and may contain outdated information.

Football season has finally arrived!  Just because you’re on vacation doesn’t mean you have to miss all the action.  Football is huge in Wisconsin so it makes sense that the Dells would have some of the most fun sports bars around.  We’ve taken into account the food, the size of the TVs and the beer flow to come up with the best places in the area to watch your favorite team bring home the big win!

Burgers, beer and football go together like…well nothing else because it’s one of the best combinations out there!  Monk’s also has some of the most satisfyingly delicious burgers in the area making it an ideal place for football.  With TWO locations in the Dells area we promise you will enjoy the atmosphere as much as the game.  Monks at the Wilderness has 45 flat screen TVs for the ultimate sports fanatic!  For a true Wisconsin experience we recommend the Bucky Badger Burger with a side of fries or cheese curds.  Complete the meal with 4 bottles of domestic beer for only $13!

Feel as if you’re on a tropical vacation to the Caribbean while watching football at the same time! Marley’s menu features delicious appetizers and entrees with a Jamaican flair.  Obviously all of your favorite brews are available but why not switch it up and enjoy a fruity drink to complete that beachside scene.  Dare we mention the 12×12 foot projection screen?  It will practically feel as if you’re at the stadium!  Drink specials include $3 Coors and Miller Light and with each drink special purchase you have the chance to win fabulous prizes.

Brat House Grill

Talk about front row seats! Watching the game on Brat House Grill’s GIANT HD TV will put you right in the middle of the action!  Game day specials such as three chicken sliders for $3 just make Brat House Grill an even better place to watch football.  The rest of their menu if filled with Wisconsin favorites like brats!   A full bar complete with creative drinks and a wide variety of brews, and a friendly atmosphere make “Wisconsin Dells’ wurst bar” an ideal place to catch the game.

Considering Moosejaw brews their own handcrafted beer in 10 different styles it isn’t hard to guess why this would be a great place to watch football.  Not to mention their extensive and delicious menu has items you can easily pair with your flavor choice.  Out with friends?  The upstairs bar is great for a fun atmosphere with a little more noise.  TV’s surround the circular bar so you have a flawless view of the game no matter where you sit.  Have the kiddos for the day?  No problem!  The downstairs bar has multiple television screens as well and a game room to keep the little ones occupied.  Perfect!

Wisconsin is known for its’ beer so why not go to a place that serves 14 of the states finest?  Sprecher’s originated in Milwaukee and prides itself on using the freshest, local ingredients.  The kids will love the original gourmet sodas, especially the root beer, which Sprecher’s is famous for!  Grab a comfy bar stool or table around the television screen filled bar and enjoy the game while eating and drinking some of Wisconsin’s finest.  If your team plays in the afternoon this is definitely the place for you!  Incredible happy hour deals make Sprecher’s a budget savvy location as well.  Loved the beer?  Take home a growler to enjoy during next week’s game!

So get ready to cheer, drink and eat your way to a victory this season in Wisconsin Dells! Don’t forget to bring your pom-poms!
