The CPR Holiday Train arrives in Wisconsin Dells on Sunday, December 9th, 2012

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train has left the station again and is making its trip in support of raising money, awareness and collecting food for our local community food pantry.

Canadian Pacific will match the monetary donations, up to $250,000, towards Feeding America who has been providing support to those in need after Hurricane Sandy.

As part of the festivities there will be a silent auction for 3 tickets to ride on the CPR Holiday Train. The winners of the auction will get on the CPR Holiday Train at the Dells Depot and ride the Holiday Train to the next stop: Mauston. For the return trip to the Wisconsin Dells Depot, the Wisconsin Dells Taxi Company has agreed to donate a taxi ride. They will be awaiting the lucky winners in Mauston to take them back to the Depot. The silent auction will take place between 1 pm – 2 pm at the Depot at the day of the event, Sunday, December 9. The lucky winners get to enjoy hot chocolate and cookies on the train. An adult must accompany all children when riding the train.
