Wisconsin Dells may be known for its waterparks, attractions, and family-friendly fun, but the Dells area is also home to the foundation of many unique businesses, including Peace. Love. Paws. What is Peace. Love. Paws.? It is an online store specializing in modern gifts and apparel for people who love dogs, cats, or both! Their mission is to create awareness for shelters and rescues, as well as provide high quality and versatile apparel.
The website was launched in November of 2014 by founder and Lake Delton native, Alissa Gander. Gander designs each item on the website, focusing on her love for dogs and the human-animal bond. Since college, she’s had a love for the pet industry and wanted a way to give back. Gander’s pet apparel and accessories can be worn almost anywhere, from going to the dog park to heading out to dinner.
Gander also partners with shelters and rescues across the nation in a project called Peace. Love. Cause., which provides shelters and rescues with the opportunity to raise funds and promote their organization through the website.
