With the launch of our month long pumpkin decorating contest we are ready for all things pumpkin, Halloween and fall this October! With the rolling hills, sparkling river and changing leaves, Wisconsin Dells is absolutely stunning this time of year. So get outside and enjoy the picture perfect scenery and weather by pumpkin picking. A fun activity to do with friends, family, significant others, co-workers and basically everyone. Here is your guide to getting your Pumpkin Palooza on!
Set a whole day aside for Country Bumpkin because there are endless funtivities to enjoy! New this year is the Lil’ Bumpkin Play Village and Petting Farm. A replica of an old-fashioned country town, complete with a house, church, school, miner’s shack, outhouse and more to come. After playing townspeople, head to the pedal kart raceway and zip around the track on various models of tractors. They also have raging rapids duck races, a mini zipline, pumpkin and watermelon catapults, apple slingshots and a hay bale mountain! Don’t forget to stop by and say “hi” to all the adorable animals in the petting zoo. Afterwards enjoy a hay bale ride to the pumpkin patch where you are sure to find the perfect pumpkin as a souvenir from a day filled with fun and excitement!
Fall is the time of year to enjoy the beautiful scenery around you. What better way to do so than a thrilling train ride through the Baraboo hills! Kids will love the unique form of transportation and you can sit back and relax while watching all the warm autumn colors fly by. The pumpkin train stops at Quartzite Lake Pumpkin Patch where travelers can get out and stretch their legs while seeking out the ideal pumpkin. Load your fresh picks onto the train and you’re off! Now you can head back home to decorate away.
