Apple Orchards, Pumpkin Patches, and Corn Mazes

Fall in Wisconsin Dells is pretty fantastic! The downtown streets are lined with pumpkins and cornstalks, the air is crisp and the Autumn colors are everywhere. One of our favorite fall family activities is to visit the local apple orchards, pumpkin patches, and corn mazes. Here are some places to visit in the area.

Country Bumpkin Farm Market

Location: off of County P in Lake Delton

Country Bumpkin offers a Petting Zoo and Play Village for the little ones. The kiddos can feed all kinds of animals including sheep, goats, alpacas, donkey calves, peacocks, ducks, and more. Race on the pedal cars or get “locked up” in the play jail. Bring the whole family to pick out your own pumpkin, enjoy a caramel apple, or bring home a fresh-baked treat. Leatherberry Acres

Location: off of County A in Baraboo

Guided wagon tours of the farm, corn maze, barrel train rides, honeybee presentation, and a 200 ft zip line. Visit the Petting Zoo to feed the goats or fire a pumpkin through a cannon. Take a ride down the seed chute slides, climb the rock wall, or tire pyramid. Don’t worry about packing a lunch they offer pizza, ice cream, and snacks. For more info: Leatherberry Acres

Northwoods Orchard and Farm Market

Location: just north of the Dells off West Hwy 82 near Mauston.

Garden Mums for mom, fresh apple cider, apple cider doughnuts, cider slushies, and apples! Something for everyone with wagon rides, pedal pull cars, petting zoo, and a corn maze. Take a stroll through the orchard, cherish some family time and pick your own apples. When you are ready to head home grab some goodies to go, don’t forget about the pumpkins. Ski-Hi Fruit Farm

Location: nestled in the beautiful Baraboo Bluffs just minutes from the Dells.

Incredible views from the farm, fresh-picked apples of many varieties, homemade apple pies, delicious turnovers, jellies, and so much more. The kiddos will love the petting zoo and caramel apples.
