It’s Halloween weekend! So many SPOOK-tacular events are happening in and around Wisconsin Dells! Saturday is packed with Halloween events and parties. Get on your hiking boots for a Halloween Candlelight Mystery Hike at Mirror Lake or jump on the Pumpkin Train at the Riverside and Great Northern Railway.
Get the kids in their costumes for some ZOMBIE watching and downtown trick or treating at Broadway Businesses, or a Safe Halloween Party for Kids held at the Lake Delton Grade school. Parties with fun activities for the kids are also being held at Knucklehead’s and Spring Brook. Mt. Olympus has their Not-So-Spooky Halloween Party with candy, a hay maze and other tricks. Pirate’s Cove is ratcheting up the scare factor with ghosts haunting their golf course. The Wilderness Resort’s Tombstone Town Tour is piling on extra scares for the weekend to get your heart racing.
Looking for some grown-up fun? The Reef Nightclub at Marley’s, Chalet Lanes, Kahunaville at Kalahari Resort and Wett Nightclub are all hosting Halloween bashes with costume contests, prizes and hot music for you to dance til you drop…DEAD!
In the surrounding area there are more haunting events to attend. Downtown Baraboo square has haunted tours, a haunted house, children’s games on the courthouse lawn, a pumpkin carving contest, zombies, a showing of the “Night of the Living Dead” at the historic Al Ringling Theatre and more!
The House on the Rock in Spring Green has really upped the fear factor with their new Dark Side at the House on the Rock. Your nightmares will become real. Stroll down the walkway of the macabre and see the carousel in a whole new light. Travel through the Devil’s throat and wander through the mysterious maze before escaping to be greeted by the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse!
