We know it’s now that time of year where you wish summer was here and the winter weather would just go away! Although we can’t control the weather, we can control what we do to make sure our days are well spent! If you’re feeling stuffy inside and need to get away from the indoor routine for a while, refresh yourself with these great ways to overcome cabin fever!
1) Hike at a Beautiful Area State Park
Wisconsin Dells is surrounded with many State Parks, each one offering different scenery and trails to hike along. Whether going for the challenge of hiking around Devil’s Lake State Park or strolling through the sandstone bluffs of Rocky Arbor State Park, you’re sure to get some fresh air on the trails. Mirror Lake State Park offers great Cross Country Skiing (weather permitting) in their wooded forest as well as hiking trails where you can fill your lungs with freshness.
2) Get up on the Ski Hills around Wisconsin Dells
It’s the perfect season to surround yourself with the snowy outdoors when you spend your day on a snowy ski hill. Whether you’re a fan of downhill skiing, tubing, or snowboarding on the rails, you can visit Cascade Mountain, Tyrol Basin, Devil’s Head Resort, or Christmas Mountain for all of your downhill adventures!
3) Spend time at an Indoor Waterpark!
Wisconsin Dells is the perfect place for this! There are over a dozen indoor waterparks in the area that are filled with water slides, rides, and plenty of room to make you think you’ve been whisked away to a tropical paradise.
