Friday, April 18th, 2014
Morning – The birds are chirping and sun is shining so why not enjoy the gorgeous outdoor spring weather with some mini golf? Pirate’s Cove is open and located right at the corner of Highway 12 and 13. They have five awesome mini golf courses that vary in difficulty but all take you deep into the midst of pirate territory! Enjoy ice cream at the top of Pirate’s Cove afterwards before heading to the family playground and fun center.
Afternoon – If you lost at mini-golf, here’s your chance for redemption; head to Mt. Olympus next for some high-speed fun! With several of their go-kart tracks already open, you can race again and again, trying all the unique twist and turns each track has to offer. Some of the rides will likely be open as well for an afternoon filled with thrills. The little ones will love the Tiny Heroes area where the go-karts and rides are just their size!
Night – Off to Bowman Park after the go-karts for the 2nd annual glow-in-the-dark Easter egg hunt! Hosted by the Wisconsin Dells Parks and Rec. Department, the event is family-friendly and kicks off at 6 p.m. Kids 10 and under are welcome to participate and can enjoy egg dyeing, coloring pictures, concessions, Easter crafts, a bounce house, and of course, the egg hunt. After such an awesome day, you’re bound to be hungry. Enjoy the Wisconsin tradition of Friday Fish Fry at Moosejaw. Fresh, baked or fried Icelandic North Cod, awaits you for a Good Friday meal that is delicious without breaking any rules. Moosejaw’s melt-in-your-mouth fish fry comes with a potato choice, coleslaw, and their famous beer bread, all for just $14.99! Kids can stay busy afterwards downstairs in the impressive game room while parents unwind with one of Moosejaw’s hand-crafted Microbrews.

Morning – Check in at The Bunny Hutch in Tanger Outlet Mall at 10 a.m. for a thrilling Easter treasure hunt! The cost of the event is only $5 and all proceeds go to Easter Seals Wisconsin. Kids will have until 2 p.m. to complete the treasure hunt and prizes will be handed out afterwards. They even have a chance to win an overnight stay at one of the area’s resorts! Parents, don’t forget to take a quick break and get their pictures taken with the Easter bunny.
Afternoon – A trip to Wisconsin Dells isn’t complete without a duck ride! Now that the weather’s warmed up, they’re up and running again for some stunning spring views of all the natural beauty The Dells has to offer. It’s very likely that you’ll see some deer and other wildlife along the way, maybe even a few fawns.
Night – Another must-do in The Dells is obviously check out the waterparks. Most resorts and hotels have their own for guests’ enjoyment, but if that’s not the case for you Kalahari Resort offers passes to their indoor waterpark. Half-day passes are an option and perfect for splashing around from the late afternoon until close! Springtime weather cools down drastically at night but the Wisconsin Dells’ indoor waterparks are always warm for a little taste of summertime.
EASTER – Sunday, April 20th, 2014
Morning – Easter Sunday brunch is the perfect way to fuel up for the big holiday! The Dells has several delectable brunches to choose from. If you’re staying at Kalahari, Wilderness, or Chula Vista, they host extensive and delicious buffets so you don’t even have to leave your resort. Your other tasty options include: Moosejaw, Trappers Turn, Spring Brook, House of Embers and Marley’s.
