Wisconsin Dells Waterparks

While the History of the Dells is a large driving force in bringing visitors to the Dells, waterparks have become a huge piece of the puzzle. In 1994, the Polynesian Resort was the first to introduce the Dells to the ‘indoor waterpark’. The idea that visitors could visit year-round without worrying about the Midwest’s brutal winter months was enticing for visitors and resorts alike! With thousands of square-footage, over 200 winding waterslides, and just over 16 million gallons of water flowing through the parks, we are here to help give you a glimpse of what each has to offer!

Mt. Olympus Theme Park & Water Park

Dive into Mt. Olympus’ outdoor waterpark, Neptune’s Water Kingdom! It’s there that you’ll find the ‘Lost City of Atlantis’ which is one of the more colorful waterparks in Wisconsin Dells! The brightly-colored outdoor waterslides and rides will have you twisting, turning, looping, and wondering what’s around the next bend. If twisting and turning isn’t your forte, grab your friends and race side-by-side on ‘Titon’s Challenge’ or ride the 9-foot tall waves in ‘Poseidon’s Rage’.

The younger ones won’t feel left out. There are several interactive shallow pools, sandy beach areas for creating castles, and an endless river with relaxation around every bend. Fun for the whole family!

Water fun is flowing year-round at Mt. Olympus’ Medusa’s Indoor Water Park! Try the thrilling speed of the ‘Anaconda’, a ten-story tall water slide or grab a tube and put your feet up on the Mayan River (the world’s speediest lazy river). If you need a break from the waterparks, you don’t have to look that far for other options. Mt. Olympus has access to over 200 acres including 6 roller coasters, 8 go-kart tracks, and a variety of other attractions that offer up year-round fun!

Noah’s Ark Waterpark Overall shot

A classic in the Dells, Noah’s Ark is huge! There are so many rides, you’ll want to purchase a season pass for a whole summer of fun! Individual thrill rides, group rides, and gentle rides provide the perfect mix of excitement and fun for the whole gang!

The kids will have a ball in Noah’s Ark’s 4 kiddie pool areas. Slides, swings, fountains and water cannons can be found in the ‘Big Kahuna Kiddie Area’. ‘Paradise Cove’ has a variety of attractions for kids young and old, including lily pad walks, cable drops, and body slides. The wave pools at Noah’s Ark are always a fan favorite, and ‘Tadpole Bay’ will have your little ones hopping for joy under the 8-foot dump bucket! If you are looking to escape the heat of the summer sun, bring the whole family inside for arcade games and a 4-D Dive-in Theater!

For the speed demons out there, Noah’s Ark has plenty of rides to satisfy your itch for a rush! Noah’s slides are known for keeping you on your toes with the perfect combination of water slide and roller coaster! You can’t even see the twists and turns coming on several of their black-out slides. The ‘Scorpion’s Tail’ is a visitor favorite with an initial drop of 50-feet per second!

Kalahari is known for their African-inspired themed suites and amenities, but their indoor/outdoor waterparks take the safari theme to a whole new level!

The kids will love the waterfalls, net crawls, and water guns of the interactive ‘Leopard’s Lair’ and the kid-friendly slides and lazy river of ‘Tiko’s Watering Hole’. The adventure continues with the floating lily pads and Shooting Star water basketball games found in ‘Crocodile Cove’.

Don’t worry adults, Kalahari has plenty of waterslides that will have you hooked! Take a ride on the ‘Master Blaster’, an uphill water coaster that was the first of its kind! Reach speeds of 40mph on the spiral flume ride ‘Tanzanian Twister’. While you’re at it, try your hand at the 50,000 gallons-per-minute ‘Flowrider’ boogie-boarding simulator! If you aren’t looking for adrenaline pumping thrills, Kalahari has many whirlpool spas, a swim-up bar, and a 920-foot long lazy river that winds through America’s Largest Indoor Waterpark!
