Independence Day is approaching fast and all of Wisconsin Dells is keeping very busy preparing for the big day. The downtown area, along with a few major resorts, are planning mind-blowing spectacles of fireworks for a 4th of July celebration that is sure to be unforgettable. 
The downtown area will be shooting off their display around sunset. Some of the best locations to watch these fireworks downtown are by the river dam near Mexicali Rose or in the soccer/baseball fields near the local pool. Near the downtown fireworks will be Mt. Olympus’ show, which is open to the public. Occurring at 9:30 p.m., their fireworks are always amongst the best of the Dells. Sit a top your car or on a blanket in the Mt. Olympus Theme Park parking lot or across the street at the Original Wisconsin Ducks. Either way, you are sure to have a spectacular view.
Kalahari Resort has a full day of fun planned for their guests starting at 10 a.m. and going until dusk. All red, white and blue themed of course, those participating are sure to have a very memorable and exciting 4th of July. Their show will be simulcast broadcasted on 106.9FM. Locals are welcome to park in a reserved area at the Kalahari where they can tune in and enjoy the fireworks as well. Other Kalahari activities include:

The Wilderness Resort will be hosting its fantastic fireworks show at 9:15 p.m. For the best seating, grab a spot at the Lost World Outdoor Waterpark, Wilderland, or at poolside rooms or cabanas at Glacier Canyon. The cabanas are also available for rent during the day for the ultimate poolside experience.
