Winter Carnival 2014 Preview

A day full of fun in the snow for friends and families, the Annual Winter Carnival at Christmas Mountain is sure to be a blast! Activities, contests, entertainment, and more, even the cold won’t deter you from making wintertime memories.

Taking place on Saturday, February 1st, the event begins at 10 a.m. and goes well into the night after the band kicks off at 9:30 p.m. A full list of the days’ happenings and scheduled times is as followed:

10:00am – Wood Splitting
10:00am – Prize Dig
10:00am – Horse Draw Wagon Rides
10:30am – Golf Long Drive Competition – Pines #9
11:00am – Snowball Launch
11:30am – Closest to the Flag Competition – Pines #9
12:00pm – Face Painting
12:30pm – Card Board Derby Races
1:00pm – Wood Splitting Finals
2:00pm – Newlywed Game – Sign up in Mulligan’s 10am-1pm
1:30pm – Dog Weight Pulls
3:00pm – Bikini/Boxer Ski Races – Bunny Hill
3:30pm – Snowman Building Contest
4:00pm – Ski across the Water Competition
4:30pm – Half Barrel Toss
6:00pm – Marshmallow Roasting with Camp Fire Kevin
9:15pm – Torchlight Parade
9:30pm – Fireworks & Live Music in Mulligan’s Bar & Grill

Christmas Mountain will be open the whole day for skiing, snowboarding and tubing so there will always be something fun for everyone to partake in! Check out The Wave video from last year’s Winter Carnival for a taste of all the excitement you’re in for.
