Touchdowns, Cheerleaders, Beer & Grub

Put on your lucky jersey, pull up a bar stool, and pass the nachos- it’s time for some football! Some of us treat football as a second religion while others are only into it for the excitement and football parties. Either way, you can always guarantee a good time when you’re among friends and good eats. Here in Wisconsin Dells, there are plenty of great bars and restaurants where you can watch the game and get a bite to eat. Whether on a little vacation with the fam or in town with your buds, these 6 spots are sure to help you cheer on your favorite team.

1) Monk’s Bar & Grill

Bite into a juicy burger at Monks Bar & Grill and you’re sure to feel like you’re winning some kind of game. The cheese curds and burgers are just a few reasons why the place is full of football fans on most Fall weekends. With a variety of taps, tv’s, and a large menu that’s been serving up goods since 1947, Monk’s is a great place to watch the game with your bros.

Barrel Table at Dells Distillery

2) Dells Distillery

The atmosphere at Dells Distillery will make you feel like you’re at the game, but not in the chilly weather. Reserve yourselves a VIP Barrel Table and watch the game while pouring your own tap beer right at the table. Pair that with some of their delicious tater tots and you’ve got yourself a winning combination.

3) B-Lux Grill & Bar

Bring the family to B-Lux Grill & Bar during the game and you’ll find a little something for everyone. The kiddos will head to the game room while the adults sit at the bar and enjoy some scrumptious food and a cold brew. If beer isn’t your thing, try one of their shakes & malts. They even have alcohol-infused hard shakes for the adults to enjoy.

4) Sand Bar

There are over 100 beers to choose from while watching the game at Sand Bar. During most games you’ll find drink specials and a rowdy crowd cheering on your favorite team. I’m a huge fan of the chicken tenders and nachos at Sand Bar, but the brats are pretty good too!

5) Spring Brook Sports Bar & Grill

You’ll find ample tv’s, great burgers, and one of the biggest Bloody Mary’s in the state at Spring Brook Sports Bar & Grill. We’re not joking about the size of the Bloody Mary, it’s huge! Watch the game with some famous smoked wings or a juicy burger while surrounded by the beautiful northwoods-style bar.

Bobberita at Bobbers Island Grill

6) Bobbers Island Grill

With 32 flat screens and a 14ft projector, you won’t miss a second of the game at Bobbers Island Grill. Bobbers features delicious pizza, a game room for the kids, and yummy drinks. If you’re looking to make it a wild game, be sure to try a Bobberita. After the signature margarita, you won’t even mind whether your team wins or loses the game.

7) Showboat Saloon

You may be asking yourself, “Where do a lot of the locals watch the game?” Although there are a many great spots in town, you’ll find a lot of them at Showboat Saloon. Showboat, known for the slogan “Warm beer, lousy service” has 24 tap beers to choose from, as well as a full bar and a great atmosphere. Be sure to act yourself when visiting Showboat. Oh, and give the ‘Shake of the Day’ a try for $1, you could win a free drink or some serious cash.
