Taste of the Dells is quickly approaching, and it’s sure to have your mouth watering in anticipation! Right in the middle of the action, the hoppin’ Downtown Dells’ Oak Street is the perfect place to host the vendors and festivities Taste of the Dells has to offer. From classic, American cuisine to flavor-filled ethnic options, there’s sure to be a few things to satisfy everyone in the family (even the picky eaters)! There’s no need to fumble over tons of ticket stubs, this year Taste of the Dells lets you order and pay at the booths of your choice with no dishes over $4! You have plenty to look forward to the first weekend in June, and were here to help you sort out the Taste of the Dells details!

Restaurants

This year’s participating restaurants range from popcorn shops to pizzerias! If you’re a carnivore, the Alamo Steakhouse will be offering pulled pork sliders and mahi mahi tacos for just $2! Spring Brook will be serving up a delicious dessert, a set of sweet-tooth cheesecake pops. For those of you who are looking for a good American classic… Chalet Lanes, a local bowling alley will be bringing their sliders with fried onions, French fries, and deep-fried pickles. If the warm weather has you looking for a cool drink, try Sprecher’s Restaurant and Pub Root beer floats! For a taste of the Caribbean, try the Marley’s booth. They will be serving coconut rice and beans, jerk pork sandwiches, crab dip sliders, ice cream to wiggle in the cracks. Expect to see several appetizers, main course portions, desserts and drinks! This is the chance for local restaurants to show you what they are all about!

Entertainment

If you’d rather skip on the food and drinks, Bowman Park will be home to a variety of entertainment options. Saturday morning from 7-10:30am the Kiwanis Club is hosting a breakfast. The Saturday fun continues with an Arts and Crafts Show, Antique Tractor Show, and public library book sale from 9-4pm. There will be shows by the Wisconsin Dells HS Jazz Ensemble, Timbavati Wildlife Park, and the Rascal Theory Band as well as a singing competition (‘Voice of the Dells’) and a fashion show.  If you’re more into cars than crafts, there will be a Corvette Parade Display from 11-2:30pm in city lots 2 and 4.

If you can’t attend Saturday’s festivities, Bowman Park will offer the Arts and Crafts Show and open up their Bowman House on Sunday. The dancing Gravity Benders Crew and musical guest Prom Queen Rejects will also be featured on Sunday’s schedule.
