Uno Pizzeria & Grill has been serving the Wisconsin Dells area since 2004. Not only does Uno Pizzeria serve mouth-watering deep dish pizzas such as the Numero Uno, Chicago Classic, and Farmers Market on their nine-grain crust, but they also have many non-pizza dishes to satisfy even the pickiest eater. Uno Pizzeria’s menu also includes delectable chicken entrées, great pasta dishes, succulent seafood entrées, many juicy steaks, a variety of sandwiches and burgers, delicious desserts, and much much more, including a full bar!
Some friends and I had the opportunity to check out Uno Pizzeria & Grill for ourselves and let me tell you about our wonderful experience. When we walked in the doors, we were brought back to 1943 Chicago. The signs, memorabilia, and even the indoor patio lighting gave the impression that we were dining at the first Uno Pizzeria. Taking our seats, it was hard to decide what to order because everything looked so good! Be sure to try the Muchos Nachos. You will not regret it! It’s a mountain of salsa, beef chili, cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, jalapeños and sour cream all atop a bed of crisp tortilla chips. And yes, it is as delicious as it sounds.
Moving on to the entrée, we ordered a BBQ Chicken Flatbread Pizza, Prima Pepperoni Deep Dish Pizza, Chicken Parmesan, and an order of Burger Sliders. Everything was phenomenal. The pizzas were perfect; the Chicken Parmesan was full of flavor, and the Burger Sliders were the perfect addition.
Now, what is a meal without dessert? We ordered a Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup which tasted just like the chocolate bar, except this one was topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Because we were full from all of the great dishes we had just eaten, it felt like a sin passing up the Bread Pudding, Uno Deep Dish Sundae, Granny Smith All-American Dessert, and all of the mini sweets that Uno offers.
Not only does Uno Pizzeria have an original menu, they offer a kids menu and a full gluten-free menu. If you’re dining in for lunch during the week, be sure to check out their lunch menu with bottomless soup!
The combination of the people I was with, the very appetizing items we had ordered, and the atmosphere of the restaurant made this a wonderful experience. If you’re running short on time or are stuck in the office, be sure to place your order for delivery or to-go. You can even order online!
