Welcome to Downtown Wisconsin Dells. Today we’re catching up with High Rock Café! High Rock Café is a favorite restaurant of tourists and locals alike. So, let’s go inside and find out what sets High Rock apart from the other restaurants in town. The floor to ceiling windows spanning the top floor dining area offers guests a spectacular view of downtown Wisconsin Dells! And, it’s not just the setting and ambiance that sets High Rock apart, the food is also very unique. High Rock offers a wide range of Modern American Cuisine from Appetizers to entrees, but this is not your typical American Cuisine… Much of the restaurant’s dishes were inspired by the travels of co-owners and chefs, Justin Draper and Wade Bernander, who grew up in Wisconsin Dells and have been friends since childhood. They opened up the restaurant in 2003 and expanded in 2010. High Rock’s commitment to fresh ingredients and innovative ideas don’t stop with their food. They use ingredients like basil, cilantro and unique liquors in their craft cocktails. High Rock’s drinks pair perfectly with the late night tapas that are cooked in the stone oven. Tapas are small plates perfect for sharing with friends. High Rock keeps their doors open late serving tapas well into the night! For a more private dining experience, High Rock offers a room called the Grotto. The Grotto seats up to 38 people and has a private entrance and restroom. It is perfect for small parties, gatherings and business meetings. But, the Grotto is a popular place so book it early! Whether you are looking for drinks, lunch, dinner, late night food or a place for your big group, High Rock has it all. Oh, and don’t forget dessert! (pop rocks cheese cake) So eat well, laugh often, and love life at the High Rock Café. I am Corinne Malone, join us next time on The Wave as we continue to explore more of the Wisconsin Dells!
