While many places offer their own versions of live entertainment on the weekends, you can experience free entertainment every night in Wisconsin Dells. Swing Crew
A true Dells favorite, Swing Crew excites audiences at every venue. If you are looking to have fun during the evening hours, be sure to check them out. This interactive, acoustic band gets the crowd excited with their mix of rock, country, pop, swing, “island beat” and everything in-between! The shows feature a wide variety of music, and are infused with audience participation, jokes, stunts, and humor. The whole family will have a blast at the Swing Crew’s performance!
Prom Queen Rejects
Members Devon Lem, Sam Lem, Shalyn Leifer, Cassie Zosul, and Jenna Hufford have come up with an extremely catchy and successful fusion of pop, rock, and country. These talented teenage ladies recently opened up for country music star, Scotty McCreery, at the Crystal Grand Music Theatre. Getting their start in Wisconsin Dells several years back, the girls have come into their own style, and continue to rock the stage.
Grupo Xpress
Formed in 2006, Grupo Xpress has become a household name in the Dells’ Latin music scene. Bust out your dancing shoes, Grupo Xpress will have you moving about with Latin flair in no time with the help of their sensational salsa sounds. The group members hail from Puerto Rico, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and the U.S. Their shows are sure to captivate and inspire you to dance!
Ryan Martin
If you happen to be in the Dells when Ryan Martin is performing, you won’t want to miss his phenomenal magic act. Ryan has been lucky enough to train under some of the most influential magic entertainers, each of which has rubbed-off a little bit of magic on Ryan’s performance. You’ll be in awe at Ryan’s exceptional abilities for the slight-of-hand.
TJ Howell
TJ Howell has the energy and skills of a true athlete. His enthralling juggling and unicycling performances will have you stunned! TJ’s comedic style will have audiences captivated, smiling, laughing, oohed and aahed.
Prairie Thunder Cloggers
A unique take on live entertainment, the Thunder Prairie Cloggers will have you tapping along in a heartbeat. Starting in 1997 with just 9 cloggers, the group has grown in numbers and has expanded their performances. The Prairie Thunder Cloggers stick close to tradition. Powerful hand clapping and yells can all be heard echoing in the downtown Wisconsin Dells, just like the historical Appalachian Mountain Cloggers. You can’t help but get pulled in!
Bahama Bob’s
Island flare at its finest, Bahama Bob is raved about wherever he goes. His hand-made steel drum from Trinidad helps lend itself to Bob’s Caribbean-style tunes. In the entertainment business for over 30 years, Bahama Bob will have you feeling as if you were on vacation from your vacation!
Southbound
Southbound is a country band with their roots in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The group formed in 1988 (before internet and cell phones… hard to believe) and has been rockin’ the country sound ever since. Chelle and Brian Baumann were both music school grads from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and have devoted their time to honkey-tonkin’ with Southbound!
Steve Meisner
Steve Meisner is a muti-talented musician who picked up an accordion at age 5, and hasn’t looked back since. Following in his father’s footsteps, Steve’s polkas are versatile and appealing to a wide audience. He’s received numerous awards for his original compositions, has many best selling polka recordings, and a Grammy nominated recording.
Black Star Drum Line
Black Star Drum Line was created for youth as part of the non-profit Diversity, Respect, Unity, Music (DRUM) program. The Black Star Drum Line is a high-energy performance group that has unique styles of marching percussion,Taiko drumming, Brazilian drumming, Hip Hop and break-dancing, local singers and more. The group consists of youth (8-16 years old) members from Dane county, and is sure to have you hoppin’ to the beats!
