From basketball courts to picnic tables, parks on the river and pavilions you can rent for events, Wisconsin Dells has a variety of free parks in the community for your enjoyment!
The most popular community park in Wisconsin Dells, Bowman Park, is located off of Broadway in Downtown Dells. Rent the pavilion with picnic tables for your next event, or enjoy a summer concert in the band shelter. The park also includes a playground, lighted basketball courts, and plenty of space for lawn games!
Located in Lake Delton by the Poppy Waterman Ice Arena, Captain Bob’s Park features all of the amenities for a family get together or group of friends wanting to play some ball! You can find a picnic shelter, playground, two baseball fields, and grills. Spend some time playing some baseball or kickball and then grill yourself up something delicious.
Located off of County Hwy A, Kaminski Park is open to those wanting to shoot some hoops while visiting the Dells. The basketball court is open to the public from 7am-10pm. The park also features softball fields, but they cannot be reserved, as many adult leagues take place on the fields in the summertime.
Next to River’s Edge Resort and located along the Wisconsin River is Newport Park. This park features a public beach, picnic tables, multiple shelters, restrooms, grills, and a fishing pier. Take advantage of a day at the beach as boats, Ducks, tubes, and other water activities take place on the river.
Ralph Hines Memorial Park is located at 410 W. Delavan Street in Lake Delton and offers a playground, picnic shelter, basketball court and tennis courts. The tennis court is available on as first come, first serve basis and the rest of the park is available by reservation! The park also offers restroom facilities for your convenience.
On the edge of town, Rotary Park is where to go if you’re a fan of playing baseball, softball, or kickball on your Dells getaway. The fields at the park are official Youth Baseball Fields set up by Little League International. You can find this newly renovated park at the corner of Race Street & Indiana Avenue in Downtown Wisconsin Dells.
If you’re a fan of sports and activity, head over to Veteran’s Park. You’ll find pools, a basketball court, playground, baseball field, softball field, batting cage, and fitness course. The park also offers restrooms and a picnic shelter with picnic tables. This is the perfect place for the whole family and the kiddos to release some energy!
