The Wisconsin Deer Park has offered guests the opportunity to explore, enjoy and feed over 100 deer and other wildlife for over 50 years! Fall in love with the resident deer as they nibble deer-friendly crackers from your hand. The park is home to a variety of critters; American elk, American bison, European fallow deer and more, all call the park home! Be sure to bring the camera; the photos you’ll get at Wisconsin Deer Park are unbelievable! The animals in the 40-acre park range in ages from newborn to mature; so you’ll be able to see them in various life stages on your 4 block stroll through the park. The Wisconsin Deer Park has stood the test of time, and there’s no wonder why the park is still a favorite among visitors.

TimbavatiParkTimbavati Wildlife Park

Who doesn’t love seeing the majestic movements of a lion, the towering height of a giraffe or the wonderful wobble of penguins? At Timbavati Wildlife Park, you can see all of that and more (be sure to remember your camera). Take a walk on the wild side at one of their spectacular wildlife shows, be a part of an unforgettable giraffe feeding experience , stick around to see one of the pig races, or sit atop a camel for a ride you’ll never forget… the choice is up to you! More than just a zoo attraction, Timbavati also offers safari train rides (re-purposed from the retro Wisconsin Dells attraction, Fort Dells), go-karts, and a snack shop filled with tasty treats. You’ll be amazed at the adventures that lie around every bend at Timbavati Wildlife Park!

CranesInternational Crane Foundation

Be prepared to be awe-struck and inspired by the beauty of the cranes at the International Crane Foundation (ICF) in Baraboo, WI. ICF is home to a member of each species of crane from around the world, several of which are listed as endangered species. Their ADA accessible paths wind around large crane enclosures and are surrounded with lush, blooming wildflowers. They can accommodate larger groups and have picnic areas that sit right beside the crane enclosures. Take some time to check out the gift store; it’s filled with unique treasures from around the world! ICF’s guided tours run at 10am, 1pm and 3pm. BigCatRescueWisconsin Big Cat Rescue & Educational Center

The Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue is home to nearly 30 feline rescue residents. Just a short drive from Wisconsin Dells, the rescue opens their doors to the public in hopes of promoting awareness and conservation of big cats. The Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue offers several different tour options including self-guided and themed hour-long tours.
