If you were waiting for the perfect weekend to experience the beautiful fall colors of the Wisconsin Dells, don’t wait any longer!
The trees have put on their brightest yellows, oranges, and reds for the season- so take advantage of the break from the rain and go for one last hike at Mirror Lake State Park, or take a stroll down the scenic Wisconsin Dells Riverwalk. This paved 1/4-mile path, which is free to the public and open year round, includes stunning views of the upper dells water front and beautiful sandstone bluffs that are unique to the area. If you’re feeling more like taking a seated view of the fall colors, consider an Upper Dells Boat Tour– you’ll pass under pine-crowned cliffs, navigate winding river narrows, and view iconic sandstone formations like Chimney Rock, Blackhawks’s Profile, and Romance Cliff.
Don’t forget to stop by Country Bumpkin Farm Market for some “just picked” snacks to take along on your outdoor adventures- berries, fruits and vegetables are picked daily! There’s also a lot of fall fun going on at the farm- a little kid’s straw maze, the Country Bumpkin Express Farm Train Ride to the pumpkin patch, corn maze, and petting farm.
