The Holidays are all about giving, so to kick off the season of sharing and caring, The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will come chugging into Wisconsin Dells at 2:45 p.m. on December 8th. Get ready to be dazzled by the incredibly talented band Home Free and performer Kira Isabella!
The 9th annual Holiday Train event will kick off at 1:30 p.m. with tons of holiday themed fun for the whole family! There will be music by Jake Beard, hot chocolate, coffee, and other treats for sale, paddle ticket sales and drawings (including one for the kids), Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there with candy bags for the kids, sleigh rides, a performance by the Wisconsin Dells Middle School Band, and most important of all, donations of non-perishable food items will be collected. The Holiday Train will roll in to conclude the event, which will finish around 4 p.m. by watching the train’s stunning light display fade into the distance as it heads to its next stop! Admission to the event is free.
The purpose of the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is to raise funds and food donations for the local food pantries. Those planning on attending are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item. If you want to donate but cannot attend, food and cash donations can be dropped off at 1000 Highway 13 in Wisconsin Dells.
Be sure to sign up for the raffle as well! The drawing event will take place December 13th at Country Keg (you do not need to be present to win). The grand prize drawing is two Packer tickets for the rivalry game against the Detroit Lions on December 28th located in the Lambeau Leap Zone! If you cannot attend and still want raffle tickets, they can also be purchased at the following business: Ad-Lit, The Amtrak Train Depot, Broadway Travel Mart, CWCAC and WCCU.
