OCT. 20 & 21, 27 & 28 Pumpkin Train At Riverside & Great Northern Railway. Fall is a special time of the year, full of color and memories. The R&GN Railway will be running trains to view nature's colorful tapestry as we wind along the 2 mile round trip through the beautiful glacier park dells. OCT. 27 Haunted Halloween Walk. New stories! Meet us on Baraboo's courthouse square for a walk along the dark streets listening to ghost stories about Baraboo shops, residents, Al Ringling and More. Take in the great Halloween decorations and be prepared to share your own spooky stories. The tour will follow Fourth Street and be about five blocks of flat easy walking on good sidewalks. Rain date is Sunday, October 28 at 8PM.

OCT. 31 Safe Halloween trick or treating for area children. Costume contest. Participating stores will have people in their doorways giving out treats. The costume contest will be held at 4PM on the Courthouse Square next to the cannon. Four age categories plus a pet category. Walgreens will be taking free photos.

PORTAGE

OCT. 27 PumpkinFest. Bring your carved or decorated pumpkins to receive free admission into PumpkinFest. Help Portage set a World Record for the most carved or decorated pumpkins in a row as we line the Wisconsin River Levee with the pumpkins at dusk on Saturday.
