New 2006 Parthenon at Mt. Olympus Water and Theme ParkThe Parthenon is now open at
Mt. Olympus Water and Theme Park
The Parthenon is a 45,000 square-foot indoor theme park , that features "Opa!" a 45 foot tall steel twister roller coaster, in which individual four-person cars spin as they traverse the track at 35 mph. The Parthenon also includes indoor bumper karts and a variety of other dry theme park rides and activities. Kilbourn Volunteer Fire Department Poker RunRide with the Men of KVFD
in the First Annual Poker Run
on Saturday May 13. Registration is from 8:00am-10:00am. The ride will begin at 10:00am. The 2006 Poker Run is a fundraiser in conjunction with the Harley Davidson Raffle and our annual Firemen's Dance. Proceeds are used to purchase much needed fire-fighting equipment. The KVFD Poker Run is a 106 mile tour with 8 stops needed to be completed from any starting point. Prizes for top Poker Hands: $500 for first place, $250 for second place and $100 for third place. Self-guided poker run is May 12 through May 20th. Winners announced May 20, 2006 at annual KVFD Dance in Downtown Wisconsin Dells.
