Paul Bunyan's Cook Shanty brings a new brand of entertainment to Wisconsin Dells with their Northwoods Lumberjack Show. The show is tentatively scheduled to open June 7th, 2013, weather permitting. Lumberjack sports are an age old tradition still popular today. The Northwoods Lumberjack Show features events such as the standing block chop, axe throw, spring board chop, obstacle pole, hot saw, log roll, and many more performed by World Champion athletes, many of which have been seen on ESPN. The new illusion Rick and Susan Wilcox are performing called "A Slice of Life", is one of a kind. Wilcox has the only one and it has taken over 3 years to develop, create, build, and rehearse this awesome Illusion.This is one of many new illusions that will be going into the Rick Wilcox Magic and Illusion show this year. Susan Wilcox has been sawn in halves before but this year she will be cut into 9 pieces right before your very eyes. Rick Wilcox has drawn blood several times during rehearsal and now takes every precaution to protect himself and his wife Susan during the performance. |

Winter is gone, construction season has begun, but our tracks are snow-covered. We've delayed our opening date until we can inspect our tracks for safety. We hope to have the tracks inspected and be ready to run, weather permitting, on April 13, 2013. The R&GN is a 15-inch gauge railroad living museum offering fun for young and old.
