Baraboo Area Chamber of Commerce

The Baraboo, Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce is a good launching point for your exploration of the area. This visitor's center has information on the local attractions, with an up to date events calendar, maps of the area, and an interactive kiosk with additional information. If you need help planning your trip throughout Baraboo, the Chamber of Commerce can help you plan your trip. Some of the surrounding locations and events they can give you information on includes Devil's Lake State Park, Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue, Ho-Chunk Casino, and the historic downtown.

Some other attractions that the Chamber of Commerce recommends includes Circus World. This is the Ringling Brothers Circus' original location, so you're getting a taste of history. Continuing the history theme, the Mid-Continent Railway Museum lets you see plenty of steam engines. Outdoor recreation is another significant part of the area. The state park has 400 campsites, bike trails, ski trails, hiking, and more. Lake Wisconsin is also nearby, so if you prefer water sports you'll be able to get boating and fishing opportunities as well. The Baraboo River is also another great area for water activities.

When you're looking for help with your Baraboo journey, the kiosk is available 24/7. Of course, there's nothing quite like getting information on the area directly from a local, so waiting for the staff to get in during the day is well worth it if you have the time. Enjoy your stay!
