• Mar 1 - Aug 31 Wisconsin Dells - 2008 Kilbourn Fire Department Fire Run. 65 bars,5 months to complete, $10,000 in Cash Prizes, Year End party on Friday, September 26th & Saturday September 27th in Wisconsin Dells, WI - Free food, live Bands, 50/50 raffles and much much more. Only 3,000 red booklets will be sold! Various locations throughout Southern Wisconsin.

• 4 - 6 Baraboo - Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. This wild-and-wooly re-enactment of the original Buffalo Bill's Wild West and Congress of Rough Riders of the World that visited Sheboygan in 1896 features cowboys doing trick riding, roping and shooting. Legendary sharpshooter Annie Oakley will be on hand, too. Other Wild West adventures include a stagecoach hold-up and a territorial bank robbery. Arena performances will be held each day from 5-7PM. • 8 - 13 Baraboo - Sauk County Fair. Midway thrills, exhibits, animals, machinery, demo derby, tractor pull, food stands and plenty of old-fashioned family fun. Nightly entertainment begins Tue. • 11 - 13 Wisconsin Dells - Mt. Olympus Greek Fest. Come to Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park for Greek food, music, souvenirs, and fun! 1881 Wisconsin Dells Parkway. Event starts at 10:00AM and ends at 2:00PM. For more information call (608) 254-2490.

• 12 Baraboo - St Clare 5K Walk/Run. The walk/run will proceed through scenic Baraboo, passing places that are integral to St. Clare's heritage such as the original St. Mary's Ringling Hospital, the Franciscan Sisters of Mary Hope Community home and St. Clare Meadows Care Center. Check-in and registration 7-8am in the St. Clare Hospital front lobby. Each participants receives a t-shirt and goody bag. Strollers, wagons, etc., are welcome. However, no pets are allowed. • 12 Baraboo - A Harry Potter Adventure in Downtown Baraboo. Calling all wizards and muggles for a family-friendly day of wizard-themed activities. You'll find fun craft projects and wizarding classes for younger wizards-in-training, a challenging scavenger hunt and wizard chess game for the more accomplished wizards, and a mysterious magic show. The day starts at 8AM by Breaking the Fast in the Great Hall where you"ll be entertained by Esteemed Professors and a Curious Crew of Characters. Meet and greet a Live Courier Owl, visit the Wizard Bank, search for the Fire Stone, attend Wizard Classes, make Wizard Crafts, play a Lawn Wizard Chess Game, participate in a Tasting Contest, Ride the Blue Nite Bus to a Mysterious Magic Show, and watch Harry Potter & The Sorcerer's Stone on the Al. • 16 - 20 Madison - Dane County Fair. More than 1,200 Dane County youth age 8-21 participate in the fourth largest county fair in the state. Lots of midway rides, food and entertainment. Alliant Energy Center, 1919 Alliant Energy Way. For more information call (608) 224-0500.

• 18 - 19 Portage - Local Artists Walk. Take a walk downtown Historic Portage and see the wonderful works of art of local and area Artists. The Artists will be displaying their artwork in various downtown businesses. Friday 4PM-8PM, Saturday 10AM-4PM. Downtown Portage. For more information call (608) 742-6242.

• 19 Lake Delton - Lake Delton Comedy Benefit. Have a great time at a great show for a great cause! Tickets: Purchased at the Door - $10 per person(No coupons accepted for the show). All the door proceeds will be donated. The show will last 90 minutes with no intermission featuring a wide variety of comedic talent. The comics are coming in from the surrounding states and donating their time for the benefit. The event is being coordinated between Ricky March (Laugh all Nite Comedy-Chicago) and Elizabeth Wylde (Dells Comedy Club-Wisconsin Dells). Dells Comedy Club, 591 Wisconsin Dells Pkwy. • 19 Portage - Concert in the Park. The Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra performs an evening performance at 6:30pm in Pauquette Park along Hwy 33. Bring your own picnic dinner and find a perfect spot in the park to listen to the beautiful sounds of the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra. Pauquette Park (Hwy 33). Event starts at 6:30PM.
