Through October 25 in Wisconsin Dells - Thunder Valley Farmer's Market.Thunder Valley Inn will host a farmer's market during the 2009 season at the inn and restaurant just outside of Wisconsin Dells. The market will take place on Sundays from 9AM to 1PM, weekly from June 7th thru October 25th. A special Mother's Day market will also be held on May 10th. Oct 2 - Oct 31 Wisconsin Dells - Ghost Boat Tour. Fridays and Saturdays only. The dark, rushing waters of Wisconsin Dells serve up an eerie backdrop for a haunted boat experience this fall. The ghostly 1 1/2 hour excursion drifts its way to the mysterious Witches Gulch, a narrow gorge that winds its way deep into the forested riverbank. Along the way guests will hear spirited stories, strange and true, that have created a haunted history on the Wisconsin River. The crisp fall air and spooky tales will send chills down your spine when you disembark at the dank and misty Witches Gulch to creep through the shadowy boardwalk on foot. Reservations required, call for prices. Two tours will be offered each Friday and Saturday night. A slightly less frightening tour will embark at 5:30PM geared toward younger goblin seekers. Oct 3 - Oct 25 Wisconsin Dells - Pumpkin Train Rides at Riverside and Great Northern Railway. On weekends during October, gifts of pumpkins will be given to our young guests. No goblins or ghosts - just good ol' plain harvest home activities. Parents looking for a less scary place to take their children this month can visit Riverside and Great Northen Railway on County Road N and ride the Pumpkin Train.
