December 4-5 Wisconsin Dells - Ultimate Hockey Tournament at Poppy Waterman Ice Arena. Join us for the Girls U12, Squirt, PeeWee, Bantam: A and B/House tournament. Ultimate Tournaments provides a great weekend getaway of fun & lots of hockey. All of our tournaments have at least four games PLUS on Sunday everyone has a chance to win the championship. December 4 - 6 Baraboo - Artisan Christmas Open House. Local Artisans will have displays set up in the Model. Their one-of-a-kind creations will be for sale. Enjoy cheese, wine, & snacks while you shop. 2 miles North of Baraboo on Hwy 12. For more information call (608) 355-9488.

December 4 - 6 Blue Mounds - Caroling at the Cave at Cave of the Mounds. Discover the unique acoustics found underground! Caroling at the Cave offers visitors good cheer through a serenade by local choir groups. This charity event is standing room only with limited seating options. Holiday shoppers will enjoy extended hours in our amazing Rock & Fossil Shop with unique natural gifts for that someone special on your list. Children will enjoy a visit with Santa while making a holiday craft in our Visitor Center! Seasonal refreshments will also be available for purchase. Winter enchantment for the entire family! December 5 Sauk City - Holiday Light Parade.A Christmas tradition with both homemade and professionally built floats adorned with lights and holiday cheer. Event starts at 6:00PM. For more information call (608) 643-4168.

December 5-6 Wisconsin Dells - Santa at Riverside & Great Northern Railway. 11:00 am-3:00 pm. Santa is in the Gift Shop for all boys and girls to share their Christmas wishes. End of the year specials will abound in our unique train store “Thomas & Friends”. For more info call 608-432-1146.

December 6 Wisconsin Dells - Santa at Marley's Caribbean Club. 11:00 am-3:00 pm. Bring in the little ones for a picture with Santa, Cookie decorating and snacks for everyone Starts at noon and ends at 2PM. For more info call 608-254-1800, 1470 Wisconsin Dells Parkway.

December 6 Wisconsin Dells - 4th Annual Canadian Pacific Holiday TrainWisconsin Dells is pleased to be a host stop for the Canadian Pacific Railway's (CPR) lighted Holiday Train and Musical Show. However this is no ordinary train! Thousands of Christmas lights, a lighted tree atop the cab and lighted wreaths on the front and back is what makes this train so special. Truly a child's Christmas wish come true! Renovated boxcars contain stage lights, sound equipment & entertainers who ride along on the train. They put on an outdoor Holiday Concert - rain or snow! FREE ADMISSION! No food or cash is loaded onto the train to be taken away. All proceeds and donations collected at the Wisconsin Dells stop will go to the Dells Food Pantry which benefits area residents. Donations for the event will be collected at several locations at the Train Station. The Holiday Train will not accept donations. Cash donations are especially appreciated, but nonperishable food items are also welcome. Event begins at 1PM and Ends at 4 PM. Amtrak Depot,, LaCrosse Street. December 12 Baraboo - Very Merry Holiday Fair. Artisans, Authors and Purveyors of Good Things to Eat. Friday Nite opening GALA, 5-9 PM, benefits Baraboo's Summerset Theatre. A $5 donation at the door includes champagne/treats/merriment/early shopping. Saturday December 05, 9 AM - 4 PM. Shop from 35 potters, basket weavers, authors, jewelers, jackets, mittens, scarves, jellies, jams, teas - quality crafted items for gift giving. December 12 Baraboo - Sha Na Na Christmas Show. They were in the original Woodstock Festival lineup, starred in the film "Grease" (the most successful movie musical), hosted the "Sha Na Na" TV series for four years, and still play more than 100 concerts a year, from state fairs to performing arts centers, casino showrooms to mega corporate functions world wide. December 31 Wisconsin Dells - Fran Cosmo, former lead singer of BOSTON, in Concert at Chula Vista Resort! Fran Cosmo, in concert for 3 BIG shows Dec. 31, 2009 , Jan. 1, 2010 and Jan. 2, 2010. These legendary musicians will be performing songs such as More than a Feeling, Smokin’, I Need Your Love, Walk On and many more great hits!
